At the end of the summer I returned to Toronto and after some time to catch up with friends and family, began my job search for full time work.

Knowing that I wouldn’t be returning to Europe for a long time, I decided to take advantage of my proximity and spent the summer traveling and visiting friends in Rome, Lisbon, Vienna, Prague, London, Barcelona, Budapest, and Dublin.

Originally applying for a Senior Product Owner role beyond my experience, I was taken for interview and later passed to the global IT support manager for an undefined role. This role evolved into a primarily reporting and data analysis role.

Learning that Canadians could also get a working holiday visa in the Netherlands without returning to Canada, I flew to Amsterdam.

Another 1 year contract put me on the product team at Easyroommate, a flatsharing website intended to connect renters with owners. Here I took features from inception to release, working with developers, designers, and testers both locally and remotely in the USA, Ukraine, India, and Phillipines.

In a 1 year contract I joined the largest SAP Implementation in the world. As part of the stores team my focus was on writing and executing FUT scripts, reporting on testing progress and defects, and training end users on our test management tool (HPQC) for UAT.
